15-2-010: ADVISORY BOARDS:
The city manager may appoint, with the advice and consent of the city council, an advisory board consisting of up to five (5) members of the city who are selected from a broad cross section of the city for a representation on the park board. The purpose of the park board is to advise the city manager and city council as to proposed uses, times, fees, and future acquisitions and improvements to the parks and recreational facilities owned and maintained by the city. A chairperson may be proposed and chosen by the city manager, with the advice and consent of the city council, and terms of office of the respective members may also be determined by the city manager, with the advice and consent of the city council.
