(A) Before installing or altering service entrance equipment, the customer shall obtain approval from the city of the point of attachment and placement of the weatherhead.
(B) The strength of the structure at the point of attachment shall be sufficient to supply the mechanical load (pull) of the service drop under ice and wind loading conditions plus an acceptable safety margin.
