(a) Any person, firm, or corporation who fails to comply with, or violates, any of the regulations set forth herein, or with any order pursuant thereto, shall, upon conviction thereof, be subject to a fine of not more than one thousand dollars ($1,000).
(b) Appropriate actions and proceeding may be taken by law or in equity to prevent any violation of these Subdivision Regulations, to prevent unlawful construction, to recover damages, to restrain, correct, or abate a violation, and these remedies shall be in addition to the penalties described above.
