1101.03 PURPOSE AND INTENT.
   The general purpose of these Subdivision Regulations shall be to guide and regulate the subdivision and development of land within the Village of Doylestown. It is intended that these Regulations shall serve the following objectives:
   (a)   To provide for orderly development of land;
   (b)   To preserve the natural beauty and topography of the Village and to ensure appropriate development with regard to these natural features;
   (c)   To establish reasonable standards of design;
   (d)   To insure safe and convenient vehicular access;
   (e)   To protect and conserve the value of land;
   (f)   To insure that land to be subdivided shall be of such character that it can be used safely for building purposes; and
   (g)   To coordinate land development in accordance with the Zoning Ordinance.
