For purposes of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
(a) "Certificate" means a certificate of public convenience and necessity issued by the Mayor authorizing the holder thereof to conduct a taxicab business in the Village.
(b) "Driver's license" means a commercial driver's license issued by the State of Ohio.
(c) "Persons" includes an individual, corporation or other legal entity, partnership and any unincorporated association.
(d) "Taxicab" means a motor vehicle regularly engaged in the business of carrying passengers for hire, having a seating capacity of less than five passengers and not operated on a fixed route.
