No person or entity shall operate an ambulance within the Village for an emergency call, unless the following has occurred:
(a) Immediately upon being dispatched, summoned, directed, or routed to an emergency call, the operator or owner of the ambulance shall notify the Chippewa Township Fire Department via telephone and provide the following information concerning the emergency call:
(1) The address to which the emergency call has been dispatched;
(2) The nature, to the extent known, of the medical emergency.
(b) Division (a) of this section shall not apply to any instance in which an ambulance is dispatched, summoned, directed, or routed within the Village for any purpose other than an emergency call and during transport of any person the call becomes, in the reasonable judgment of the operator of the ambulance, an emergency call.
