1313.05 APPLICATION FOR ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR'S REGISTRATION; BOND REQUIRED AND REGISTRATION FEE REQUIRED.
   An application for an electrical contractor's registration shall be made in writing in the name of the person, firm or corporation applying therefor, on forms prescribed and provided by the Department of Public Service and shall contain such information as is required by the rules and regulations of such Department. If such application is made by an individual, it shall be signed by such individual; if made by a partnership, it shall be signed by one of the partners; and if made by a corporation, it shall be signed by one of the officers of such corporation. Such application shall be accompanied by a bond, to be held on file by the City, in the sum of five thousand dollars ($5,000) with surety to the approval of the Mayor and the form of which shall be approved by the City Solicitor and conditioned that the applicant will save and keep the City harmless from all loss and damage that may arise from the negligence of such applicant or his agents or employees and will conform to and obey all statutes, laws, ordinances, rules and regulations which have been or may hereafter be enacted or adopted respecting and governing or intended to govern electrical work or the installation of electrical wiring, conductors and equipment. The registration fee for an electrical journeyman shall be ten dollars ($10.00). (Ord. 15-14. Passed 4-7-14.)
