931.06 HANDLING OF FUNDS; AGREEMENT TO TERMS.

   (a)    All moneys collected by the designated agent shall be kept separate and apart from any personal funds of the collecting agent and in the event any controversies shall arise between the collecting agent and any person, firm, or corporation regarding the payment or nonpayment of their bill to the collecting agent, the agent shall indemnify and save harmless the City from any loss arising under such situation.

   (b)    The agent shall agree by an agreement entered into within thirty days of its designation as a collecting agent by resolution of Council to all of the terms and conditions set forth in Sections 925.07 through 925.13. Such agreement shall be maintained on file in the Utility Office and will be available for public inspection during normal working hours. The agreement shall include a provision regarding the liability of the agent to the City in the event that the conditions are not fulfilled. (Ord. 50-84. Passed 9-17-84.)
