929.01 DEFINITIONS.
   (a)    The term "garbage" as used herein shall include the organic waste of animal, fish, fruit or vegetable matter, arising from or attendant to the storage, dealing in preparation, or cooking of food for human consumption from houses, kitchens, hotels, restaurants, markets and commission houses.    (b)    The term "refuse" as used herein shall include nonrecyclable rubbish and recyclable rubbish as further defined in this subsection; such definition shall include but not be limited to household, commercial and institutional combustible and noncombustible solid waste material such as paper, textiles, glass, metal, ashes, grass, weeds, hedge trimmings, tree trimmings, leaves, Christmas season items, furniture, housekeeping appliances; etc.
      (1)    "Nonrecyclable rubbish" means rags, sweepings, excelsior, rubber, leather, crockery, shells, clothing, straw, dirt, filth, ashes, wastepaper and similar waste material.
      (2)    "Recyclable rubbish" means clean metal and/or aluminum food containers and cans; glass food containers and bottles with metal rings and tops removed; discarded newspapers, magazines, cardboard and flat paper, plastic containers. (Ord. 64-89. Passed 8-7-89.)
   (c)    The term "industrial waste" as used herein shall include the solid waste material resulting from industrial enterprises and corporations.
   (d)    The term ''building rubbish" as used herein shall include rubbish from construction, remodeling, demolition, maintenance and repair operations on residential, commercial, industrial and other structures including, but not limited to, excavated earth, sod, trees, tree stumps, stones, brick, plaster, lumber, rubble, concrete, roofing and such other debris that results from such work.
   (e)    The term "dwelling" is synonymous with the term "residence".
