925.16 CONNECTION TO MUNICIPAL WATER SUPPLY.
(a) All plumbing fixtures in a private dwelling structure shall be supplied with running water from the Municipal water supply system.

(b) The drilling and establishment of private or public water supply wells (as defined in Ohio R.C. 3701.344) shall be permitted for purposes other than human consumption (i.e., irrigation, manufactured cooling purposes, etc.). No physical connections between private water well lines and water lines supplied by the Municipal water supply system shall be permitted. (Ord. 56-96. Passed 11-4-96.)
(c) Anyone planning to drill a private water well within the Municipal limits of the City of Dover shall apply for a permit through the office of the Director of Public Service and pay a fee of fifty dollars ($50.00) for each permit.
(d) All existing private and public water wells within the Municipal limits of the City of Dover at the time of passage of this section shall be registered with the Director of Public Service within one year of the date of this section.
