925.017 ACCESS TO WATER METER.
All consumers of City water shall leave access to the water meter or remote for repair, replacement or reading of meter. The water meter and remote shall not be closed in, housed or covered over unless the consumer has the approval of the Water/Wastewater Superintendent or a representative of the Water Department. If closed, it shall be changed to the approval of the Water/Wastewater Superintendent at the consumer’s expense. The Water Department shall have access to read the water meter at least once each year.
