923.12 WATER METERS.

(a) All water services shall be metered. When meters are installed under the provisions of this chapter, the Water Department shall cause the cost of said meter and meter horn to be billed to the customer. (Ord. 83-99. Passed 12-6-99.)

(b) Where required to be installed, at least one meter shall be installed for each property. Additional meters may be installed for each tenant, apartment, separate housing unit or water taker as the Director of Public Service may deem proper and appropriate; and the property owners shall be held responsible and liable for the payment of all water consumed upon such premises. (Ord. 8-85. Passed 3-14-85.)
