923.03 STREET OPENING CHARGES FOR SEWER LATERAL CONNECTIONS.
The Director of Public Service shall make the following permit charges for repair and maintenance of the street caused by making the sewer lateral connection. In lieu of paying this charge, the permit applicant may choose to repair and maintain the street. Asphalt street repair shall consist of sawing the street pavement six inches beyond the sewer trench and thereby making a continuous square pavement edge which will allow the new asphalt to match the existing asphalt. The repaired portion of the street shall match the grade, thickness and type of materials of the existing adjacent pavement.
