759.01 PURPOSE.

   In order to promote the public safety, health, and welfare, the adult entertainment businesses specifically defined herein should be subject to regulations to prevent the erosion of the character of the surrounding neighborhoods; and that the establishment of such businesses should be prohibited within close proximity to existing adult entertainment businesses, residentially zoned areas, schools, churches, parks, and playgrounds.
