721.01 DEFINITIONS.
   The following definitions shall be used in reference to the terms "coin-operated amusement devices" and “coin-operated musical devices” wherever used in this chapter.
   (a)    "Coin-operated amusement device" includes any machine or device which, upon the insertion of a coin or token of any type in a slot or receptacle attached to or in any way connected with the machine, operates or is designed to operate as a game, contest or amusement, or which may be used for any such game, contest or amusement.
   (b)    "Coin-operated musical device" includes any machine, apparatus or device designed or constructed for the purpose of producing, reproducing or playing any musical or vocal tone or tones or combinations of tones, made possible by the deposit or insertion of a coin or token of any kind in a slot or receptacle attached to the machine which operates or is designed to operate or which may be operated for the playing of music, tones or combinations of tone. Any auxiliary units such as speakers or booth boxes shall be considered as part of the main machine.
   (c)    The definitions contained in this section shall not in any way be deemed to be exclusive, and shall exclude and not be deemed to permit in any manner any device, the possession of which is now or shall hereafter be prohibited by law. (Ord. 1996. Passed 5-2-55.)
