553.01 GENERAL RESTRICTIONS.
   (a)   Other than for the purpose of deliveries, ongoing work by contractors and repairmen at the site where the work is being performed, no person shall park on private property within the residential districts of the City of Dover an agricultural or commercial tractor or commercial trailer. For purposes of this chapter, a commercial trailer means any vehicle without motive power that is designed to be towed by a motor vehicle that includes, but is not limited to, both enclosed or open cargo trailers, pole trailers, or other specific pieces of machinery or equipment mounted on trailer axles, such as a log splitter, cement mixer, air compressor, leaf mulcher, wood chipper, or portable signs. Also for purposes of this chapter, an open or enclosed cargo trailer with 2 or less axles will not be considered a commercial trailer unless the trailer has commercial signage or lettering affixed upon it.
   (b)   For purposes of this section a “commercial vehicle” means any vehicle used or designed to be used for business or commercial purposes which infringes on the residential character of the residential district and includes, but not necessarily limited to: a bus, cement truck, commercial tree trimming equipment, construction equipment, dump truck, garbage truck, panel truck, box truck, semi tractor, semi trailer, stage bed truck, step van, tank truck, tar truck, tow truck, and/or commercial trailers.
