552.03 RETROACTIVITY.

It shall be unlawful for any person, firm, or corporation who has purchased a motor vehicle from the City of Dover prior to the effective date of this chapter to permit the vehicle to contain the name of the City of Dover or other official markings anywhere upon said vehicle more than twenty days after receipt of notice from the Director of Public Service that said markings or names shall be removed.
