(a) The President of the Village shall receive a monthly salary in an amount set forth in the Village schedule of wages and salaries for the performance of the duties of this office.
(b) The President of the Village shall also receive compensation for each committee meeting actually attended in an amount set forth in the Village schedule of wages and salaries.
(c) The compensation which shall be due the President for the preceding month shall be paid on the second Monday of each month from the General Fund of the Village.
