An inspection by a city employee, in accordance with § 10.20 of this code of ordinances, is required to ensure that a proper connection is made to the edge drain. A permit must be issued to the property owner before the installation can occur. The permit fee shall be determined and approved by the City Council. As a condition of receiving the permit, the owner shall sign a waiver of claims for damages.
