(A) The City Council reserves the right to certify to the County Auditor unpaid utility balances to next year(s) property taxes. Notice will be mailed to property owners of the date and time of the City Council meeting at which time a resolution will be presented regarding said unpaid utility balances. Upon adoption, the resolution will be presented to the County Auditor to be certified on next year(s) property taxes.
(B) In addition to any other penalties provided for in this chapter, the City of Dilworth reserves the right to utilize any appropriate proceedings at law or equity to procure payment for utility services or to enforce any failure to comply with provisions of this chapter, including utilizing a collection agency for unpaid utility balances.
