§ 152.12 COMPLIANCE ORDER.
   Whenever a compliance officer determines that any building or portion thereof, or the premises surrounding either of these, fails to meet the provisions of this chapter, a compliance order setting forth the violations of the chapter and ordering the owner, occupant, or agent to correct such violations shall be issued. This compliance order shall:
   (A)   Be in writing;
   (B)   Describe the location and nature of the violations of this chapter;
   (C)   Establish a reasonable time for the correction of such violation;
   (D)   Notify the owner, occupant, or agent of the ability to appeal a compliance order; and
   (E)   Be served upon the owner, occupant, or agent, as the case may require. Such notice shall be deemed to be properly served upon such owner, occupant, or agent if a copy thereof is:
      (1)   Served upon the owner, occupant, or agent personally; or
      (2)   Sent by first class mail to his/her/its last known address; or
      (3)   Upon failure to effect notice through (E)(1) or (2), posted in a conspicuous place in or about the building, or portion thereof, that is affected by the notice.
