(A) Functions are to be decided by the Neighborhood Association Commission.
(B) Some of the functions of the Neighborhood Association Commission could include:
(1) Determining which Neighborhood Association projects would be approved to receive city contributions;
(2) Sharing ideas between Neighborhood Associations;
(3) Plan city-wide Neighborhood Association meetings and picnics;
(4) Communication with City Council and staff to solve neighborhood concerns and address potential problem areas;
(5) Work with community police officer in better organizing Neighborhood Watch Groups;
(6) Develop new goals and approaches to the Neighborhood Association program;
(7) Initiate and form Neighborhood Watch Groups; and
(8) Develop a public relations strategy.
