(A) The elections for Mayor and City Council members will be held in even-numbered years.
(B) The elections for Mayor and City Council members shall be for four-year terms.
(C) The regular election of the Mayor and City Council members shall be held the first Tuesday after the first Monday of November in even-numbered years. The first such election in Dilworth shall be held in November 2020.
(D) All terms of office ending December 31, 2019 at the time of the adoption of this section shall be extended to December 31, 2020. All terms of office ending December 31, 2021 at the time of the adoption of this section shall be extended to December 31, 2022.
