(A) Any contractor, utility company or other party that does not have a written agreement with the city that allows them to work within the city’s right-of-way, must receive an excavation permit before work can begin. A separate excavation permit is required per street saw cut. A deposit is required per street saw cut and shall be held by the city for a period of two years.
(B) Any party that has a written agreement with the city that allows them to work within the city’s right-of-way must provide proper documentation to the city on the work to be performed prior to any street excavation.
