5-4-55-9   Height Standards.
      The maximum height of any building is limited to thirty-five (35) feet, with the following exceptions:
      (A)   Structures permitted above the height limit.
         Chimneys, poles, spires, tanks, towers (except communication towers), masts, and other similar structures not used for human occupancy may exceed the district height limit. However, such structures shall be separated from any adjoining lot line of a lot in a residential zone by a distance equal to one (1) foot for each two (2) feet of structure height.
      (B)   Roof Structures.
         Roof structures for housing elevators, stairways, ventilating fans, heating or air conditioning equipment, or similar equipment required for the operation and maintenance of a building may be erected above the height limit in this district.
