§ 4-7-6 POTENTIAL POLLUTION SOURCE INVENTORY.
   (A)   An inventory of potential pollution sources within the delineation zones is included as Appendix C. This information was obtained by windshield survey. Public information sources such as permits for hazardous waste generation, underground storage tanks, Form R reporting of chemicals, databases for known groundwater contamination sites and reported spills were examined. A number of petroleum contamination listings were found within the well delineation areas.
   (B)   It is important to note that inclusion of an activity as a potential contaminant source does NOT mean that a problem has occurred at that location. It means simply that substances may be present that could be contamination hazards if not properly and carefully managed, or that such types of activities have been recognized as sources of groundwater contamination when releases occur.
