(A) The Idaho Building Code (IBC), 2018 edition, shall be adopted by the city, and shall be the minimum construction standard for all structures built within the city, its area of impact, and any future area that may come under the authority or jurisdiction of the city.
(B) The above code is adopted as published by the International Code Council together with any amendments or provisions set forth in Idaho Code § 39-4109, including subsequent versions of the International Building Code as adopted and amended by the state’s Building Code Board.
(C) All codes adopted by the city shall be amended and interpreted as set forth in Idaho Code § 39-4116.
(D) The codes adopted by the city under this section shall also be known as the Uniform Building Code.
