§ 52.04  INDUSTRIAL WASTES.
   (A)   Each person or firm desiring to make a connection to the public sewer for the purpose of discharging industrial wastes thereto shall prepare and file with the City Engineer a report that shall include actual or predicted data relating to the quantity and characteristics of the waste to be discharged. The city may authorize private treatment facilities; provided that, all federal, state, and local laws and regulations are fully complied with.
   (B)   Industrial waste charges may be based upon the amount of flow, biochemical oxygen demand (BOD), suspended solids, or any combination thereof as may be recommended by the City Engineer or this chapter.
   (C)   Pretreatment of industrial wastes shall be prerequisite to discharge into the city sewer system. Pretreatment of all industrial wastes shall comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
