(A) The Housing Authority of the City Council and the Housing Authority of the County are the designated local agencies eligible to implement the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) $1 Home Sales to local governments programs.
(B) The Mayor or his or her designee is authorized to implement strategies consistent with the HUD $1 Home Sales to local governments program.
(C) The Mayor or his or her designee is authorized to amend the agency budget to appropriate $1 from the general budget for the purchase of foreclosed properties in the city from the Federal Housing Administration under the HUD $1 Home Sales to local government programs.
