There shall be a municipal judge for the town of Dickson, Oklahoma. Said judge shall be appointed by a majority of the board of trustees of the town of Dickson, Oklahoma, and shall serve at the board's pleasure. The municipal judge shall at all times be an attorney licensed to practice law before the supreme court of Oklahoma, and shall be a resident of the state of Oklahoma during his or her tenure. The municipal judge shall discharge his or her duties faithfully, impartially, and fairly, and shall be responsible for determining violations of municipal ordinances of the town of Dickson, Oklahoma, and determining appropriate penalties thereof. The municipal judge may be removed from office at anytime by a majority vote of the board of trustees, with or without cause.
