(A) There is hereby created a Park Advisory Committee consisting of the number of residents of the village as may be appointed from time to time by the Mayor with the advice and consent of the Village Commission. The Committee members shall serve at the pleasure of the village.
(B) The function and duties of this Committee will be to recommend, suggest, coordinate, and advise the village in connection with the operation, equipping, maintenance, and use of any park areas in the village.
(C) The Committee shall serve without compensation. The Committee shall also meet with the Commission from time to time reporting their recommendations, suggestions, and other matters relative to the use, operation, and control of any park area in the village. The Village Commission shall take the action as it deems necessary or appropriate with regard to the same.
(D) The village shall from time to time budget and appropriate the amounts as it may deem appropriate for the operation, equipping, maintenance, and use of any park property. Expenditures for park purposes shall be approved by the Commission.
(E) This section shall be effective from and after its passage, approval, and publication in pamphlet form.
