The violation by a permittee of the terms of a permit or the ordinances and regulations of the village shall subject the permittee upon a finding of liability for the violation to the maximum amount of fine permitted by this chapter. Each day that a violation continues shall be deemed a separate violation. The Mayor shall provide the permittee prompt written notice of any fines to be assessed against the permittee. Such notice shall be served on the permittee by personal delivery, or by deposit in the United States mail, with proper postage prepaid to the name and address set forth on the application for permit.
