Certified payroll records submitted to the county under § 5(a)(2) of the Prevailing Wage Act, being ILCS Ch. 820, Act 130, are public records subject to inspection and copying in accordance with the provisions of this chapter; except that contractors' employees' addresses, telephone numbers, and social security numbers must be redacted by the county prior to disclosure.
