(A) The Circuit Clerk of the county shall annually collect a fee in the amount of $36 from each person making maintenance and child support payments through the Circuit Clerk’s office for administering the collection and distribution of maintenance and child support payments.
(B) This sum shall be in addition to and separate from amounts ordered to be paid as maintenance or child support.
(C) These amounts collected shall be deposited in a separate fund called the Maintenance and Child Support Collection Fund of the county. The Circuit Clerk shall be the custodian of the Fund and shall use those funds to further maintenance and child support collection efforts in his or her office.
