(A) The County Circuit Clerk is authorized to collect a court document fee of $20 for over the counter or $18 for each party in all civil cases and $13 for over the counter or $13 from each criminal defendant who is convicted or placed on supervision.
(B) These fees shall be paid into the County Treasury and deposited into the Court Documents Storage Fund from which the County Board may make expenditures for court record storage costs including personnel; provided that, the expenditure is approved by the Clerk of the Circuit Court.
