The rural reference numbers assigned to the intersection of public roads in the unincorporated area of the county shall continue to be maintained by the County Highway Department. Assignment of new rural reference numbers or the proposed change of existing rural reference numbers shall only occur upon the approval of the County Engineer, the County Zoning Officer and the 911 Administrator.
