The assignment of road names to new or unnamed roads and the assignment of addresses to new or previously unaddressed sites in the unincorporated area of the county shall occur in accordance with the following.
(A) The County Zoning Officer shall review each application for permit and each plat for subdivision proposal and verify that the road names and site addresses as shown thereon meet the requirements of this chapter and have been entered into the county digital database.
(B) The County Zoning Officer shall forward to the 911 Administrator a copy of all applicable portions of applications for permit or subdivision proposals regarding proposed improvements of previously undeveloped sites in the unincorporated area of the county.
(C) The 911 Administrator shall review each application for permit and each plat for subdivision proposal and shall notify the County Zoning Officer in writing that the road names and site addresses as shown thereon meet the requirements of this chapter and have been entered into the ETSB digital database.
(D) The County Engineer shall direct those proposing to layout roads to the 911 Administrator and to the County Zoning Officer for their respective written and signed verifications on the face of the applicable final hearing plat that the road names and site addresses as shown thereon meet the requirements of this chapter and have been entered into the respective ETSB and county databases. The County Engineer shall present all plats to the County Board for action on naming of the roads at the time that the applicable road has been laid out.
(E) The County Board shall act on all other issues involving proposed road names only after the applicable document showing the proposed road name is presented which bears on its face a signed verification by the 911 Administrator and by the County Zoning Officer that the road names and site addresses as shown thereon meet the requirements of this chapter and have been entered into the respective ETSB and county databases.
(F) The approval by the County Board of a final plat involving proposed road names constitutes the approval of the road name.
(G) The verification as specified herein by both the 911 Administrator and the County Zoning Officer that the addresses meet the requirements of this chapter and have been entered into the respective ETSB and county databases constitutes the approval of the site addresses.
