§ 31.17 POSITIONS OF CHIEF DEPUTY AND JAIL ADMINISTRATOR CREATED.

   There are hereby created the positions of Chief Deputy and Jail Administrator as non-merited positions, appointed by the Sheriff, and available only to return to a previous merited status if a vacancy is available at the time of leaving the position of Chief Deputy or Jail Administrator.
