For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
JUNK. Discarded paper, cartons, boxes, barrels, wood, plastics, metals, glass, pieces of glass, cans, bottles and all other types of discarded items, regardless of form.
VEHICLE. Automobiles, trucks, buses and all other similar mediums designed to be operated on public thoroughfares.
VEHICLE, ABANDONED. Vehicles located on public or private property which are allowed to remain on public property, or on private property without the consent of the owner, for a period of more than 24 hours.
VEHICLE, INOPERABLE. A vehicle which, in its present state, is incapable of being operated on a public thoroughfare and has remained in that state for a period of 30 days.
