§ 90.022 DISPOSITION OF FEES; ANIMAL CONTROL FUND.
   The County Treasurer shall place all moneys received for annual registration fees in an Animal Control Fund for the purpose of paying costs of the animal control program. One-third of all fees collected shall be retained in the Fund until the first Monday in March of each calendar year for the purpose of paying claims for loss of livestock or poultry as set forth in § 19 of the Animal Control Act, being ILCS Ch. 510, Act 5. The remaining two-thirds shall be used for paying the cost of stray animal control, impoundment, education on animal control and rabies, and other costs incurred in carrying out the provisions of the Act, except as set forth in § 357 of the Animal Control Act, being ILCS Ch. 510, Act 5.
