Any party to an administrative hearing may appeal the order of the Administrative Hearing Officer to the Circuit Court of Cook County within thirty five (35) days of the entry of the order. In the event that a party files a timely petition to set aside a Hearing Officer's ruling pursuant to subsection 1-16-14B of this chapter, a party may appeal the order within thirty (30) days of a decision on a petition to set aside a Hearing Officer's order. Such appeal shall be limited to a review of the official record of proceedings of the administrative hearing. Only evidence found in the official record of proceedings may be considered on appeal.
The cost of preparing and certifying a transcript of the administrative hearing proceedings shall be paid by the party filing the complaint for administrative review pursuant to the provisions of 735 Illinois Compiled Statutes 5/3-109. (Ord. M-101-07, 12-17-2007; amd. Ord. M-22-08, 6-16-2008)
