A variation from the strict application of these provisions may be sought pursuant to section 12-3-6, "Variations", of this title. However, no variation may be granted which increases any dimension (height, length, width or area) to an amount over fifty percent (50%) of the corresponding dimensions normally permitted by this chapter.
