The following departments and department personnel are hereby authorized to issue administrative citations in accordance with this chapter:
A. Police Department: All sworn police personnel, community service officers, and citizens on patrol are hereby authorized to issue administrative hearing citations for violations of the following provisions of this code:
Title 4, "Business Regulations", in its entirety.
Title 5, "Public Health And Safety", in its entirety.
Title 6, "Police Regulations", in its entirety.
Title 7, "Motor Vehicles And Traffic", in its entirety.
Title 8, "Public Ways And Property", in its entirety.
Title 10, "Construction Regulations", in its entirety.
Said administrative hearing citations shall be issued in accordance with the provisions of this chapter.
The traffic compliance administrator is hereby authorized to issue red light violation notice citations in accordance with the provisions of title 7, chapter 12 of this code. (Ord. M-69-14, 12-1-2014)
B. Community Development: All building officials, building inspectors, housing inspectors, sanitarians and the senior clerk in charge of business licensing are hereby authorized to issue administrative hearing citations for violations of the following provisions of this code:
Title 4, "Business Regulations", in its entirety.
Title 5, "Public Health And Safety", in its entirety.
Title 6, chapter 1, "Animal Control".
Title 6, chapter 1, article A, "Dogs And Cats".
Title 8, "Public Ways And Property", in its entirety.
Title 10, "Construction Regulations", in its entirety.
Title 13, chapter 1, "General Subdivision Provisions", in its entirety.
Title 13, chapter 2, "Procedures And Plats", in its entirety.
Title 14, "Flood Control", in its entirety.
Said administrative hearing citations shall be issued in accordance with the provisions of this chapter. (Ord. M-68-11, 1-3-2012; amd. Ord. M-14-14, 5-19-2014)
C. Finance Department: The director of the finance department and the assistant director of the finance department are hereby authorized to issue administrative hearing citations for violations of the following provisions of this code:
Title 4, "Business Regulations".
Title 5, chapter 2, "Solid Waste, Recyclable Materials, Yard Waste, And Composting".
Said administrative hearing citations shall be issued in accordance with the provisions of this chapter. (Ord. M-68-11, 1-3-2012; amd. Ord. M-4-14, 2-3-2014)
D. Consumer Protection Commission: The chairman of the consumer protection commission is hereby authorized to issue administrative hearing citations for violations of the following provision of this code:
Title 2, chapter 11, "Consumer Protection Commission".
Said administrative hearing citations shall be issued in accordance with the provisions of this chapter. (Ord. M-5-09, 2-2-2009)
E. Fire Department/Fire Prevention Bureau: All sworn fire personnel are hereby authorized to issue administrative hearing citations for violations of the following provision of this code:
Title 10, chapter 3, "Fire Code", in its entirety.
Said administrative hearing citations shall be issued in accordance with the provisions of this chapter. (Ord. M-69-14, 12-1-2014)
F. Department Of Public Works And Engineering: The director of public works and engineering, the assistant director of public works and engineering, and civil engineers are hereby authorized to issue administrative hearing citations for violations of the following provisions of this code:
Title 8, "Public Ways And Property", in its entirety.
Title 9, "Public Utilities", in its entirety.
Title 10, "Construction Regulations", in its entirety.
Title 13, "Subdivision Regulations", in its entirety.
Title 14, "Flood Control", in its entirety.
