A. Each vehicle licensed as aforesaid shall bear, on the outside thereof, in a conspicuous place, the name of the owner thereof in letters not less than two inches (2") in height, properly proportioned and legible. Every vehicle shall, in addition to the name, bear a number on the outside thereof in a conspicuous place.
B. The identification number assigned to the taxicab by the company shall be affixed to the exterior of the vehicle on each front quarter panel and trunk, visible from the rear at street level. These letters must be a minimum of two inches (2") in height and one-fourth inch (1/4") brushstroke.
C. Each vehicle must post, on the lower driver's side front windshield, a city of Des Plaines annual taxi vehicle license sticker, and six (6) month mechanical/physical inspection sticker, provided by the city which will clearly identify the vehicle as operating under a license issued by Des Plaines which authorizes pick up of patrons in Des Plaines. Pick up of patrons in Des Plaines without being licensed by the city is a violation of this chapter and is subject to a fine as provided in the general penalty section of 1-4-1 of this code. (Ord.
