As used in this chapter, the following terms shall have the following meanings:
ENGAGED IN THE BUSINESS: The same meaning as in 18 USC section 921(a)(21).
FIREARM: See 430 Illinois Compiled Statutes 65/1.1 for meaning.
FIREARMS DEALER: Any person licensed by the federal bureau of alcohol, tobacco and firearms as a "dealer" pursuant to section 923(a)(3)(B) or section 923(a)(3)(C) of title 18 of the United States Code and possessing a "type 01" federal license; and excluding any person licensed solely as a "collector" pursuant to section 923(b) of title 18 of the United States Code and possessing only a "type 03" federal license.
PERSON: Any individual, public or private corporation, partnership, firm, society or unincorporated association.
PUBLIC PARK: Any land or buildings set apart for public recreation and owned by any unit of government and any land owned by the forest preserve district of Cook County.
SCHOOL: Any public or private elementary or secondary school, community college, college or university. (Ord. M-19-13, 10-7-2013)
