A. Upon receipt of a liquor license application, the liquor control commissioner shall cause to be posted on the premises for fourteen (14) days a notice stating: name of applicant; license classification applied for; and, the date the matter will be on the council agenda; and, indicating that said premises are being sought as the location at which intoxicating liquors may be sold or otherwise dispensed or consumed.
B. The only intent of the fourteen (14) day posting provision is to give notice to adjacent residents and/or businesses of the change of ownership and/or the opportunity to object to the location being used as a liquor establishment. (Ord. M-19-13, 10-7-2013; amd. Ord. M-13-21, 9-20-2021)
