4-4-3: LOCAL LIQUOR CONTROL COMMISSIONER:
   A.   The mayor shall be the local liquor control commissioner for the city. This office may also be referred to in this code as "liquor control commissioner" or "local liquor control commissioner", or the "city's local liquor control commissioner". (Ord. M-19-13, 10-7-2013)
   B.   All applications for licenses shall be under oath and be filed with the local liquor control commissioner. The local liquor control commissioner, or his authorized agent, may require the applicant, or any owners, officers, directors, managers or members of the applicant for an alcoholic beverage license to be fingerprinted and investigated by the police department for the purpose of verifying individual qualifications for such license. Thereafter, the local liquor control commissioner shall make a recommendation to the city council. (Ord. M-29-16, 11-7-2016)
   C.   The local liquor control commissioner may appoint a person or persons to assist him in the exercise of the powers and the performance of his duties. (Ord. M-19-13, 10-7-2013)
