The purpose of this chapter is to ensure that temporary events and sales, including certain events, seasonal retail locations, and occasional residential sales are conducted in compliance with all zoning, building, fire, and health codes and any other applicable ordinances, and regulations, and orders so as to promote and protect the general health, safety, and welfare of the city and its residents.
