§ 9-611 ELECTRICIAN; ELECTRICIAN’S BOND; CONDITIONS.
   Before any electrician’s license shall be issued, by the City Clerk, the applicant shall execute and file with the City Clerk a bond in the sum of $5,000, signed by some approved corporate surety company, said bond to be approved by the Mayor and Council, conditioned that the licensee shall pay such original registration and renewal fees by way of occupation tax as may be required, shall leave all streets, sidewalks and pavement in as good condition as he or she found them and maintain the same to the satisfaction of the Electrical Inspector for a period of six months next after receiving certificate of approval, shall indemnify and hold harmless said city, of and from all accidents, damages, liability, claims, judgments, costs or expenses caused by any negligence arising from a failure to protect such work, or by any unfinished, unskillful or inadequate work done in pursuance of his or her license in wiring said places prepared to receive the electric current and including the connections and extensions of supply wires; and that such applicant will be governed by the rules and requirements herein provided or that may be hereafter prescribed and adopted by said city, adopted or in force during the period of his or her license with reference to such wiring and fixing of electric appliances to the satisfaction of the Electrical Inspector or his or her deputy or agent charged with such duty; and shall pay all fines imposed upon him or her for any violation thereof. The obligee of said bond shall be the city, the action may be maintained thereon by anyone injured by a breach of its conditions. The city hereby recognizes and will honor a State Class A Journeyman and Class A Master License and nothing herein shall be construed to mean otherwise.
