§ 3-1105 UTILITY METER DEPOSITS.
   (A)   Electric meter deposit. Upon application to the city for electric service, the applicant shall deposit the sum of $200 as an electric meter deposit. This deposit shall be paid in full at the time of applying for such service.
   (B)   Water meter deposit. Upon application to the city for water service, the applicant shall deposit the sum of $50 as a water meter deposit. This deposit shall be paid in full at the time of applying for such service.
   (C)   Refund of meter deposits. Upon the consumer making timely payment of all electric, water and other utility charges, prior to the same becoming delinquent, for a period of 24 consecutive months, the electric meter deposit and water meter deposit shall be refunded to the individual or individuals posting the same.
   (D)   Multiple meters. No additional electric meter deposit or water meter deposit shall be required of an applicant who is, at the time of making application for such service, a customer of the electrical and water system and who has timely satisfied, prior to the same becoming delinquent, all utility charges for a period of 12 consecutive months prior to making application for such additional service.
